Jan R. Harden, DDS
Dr. J.R. Harden was born in St. Louis, MO. He first lived in Houston during his high school years, where he attended Westchester and Memorial High Schools. He received his B.S. in chemistry from Westminster College in Fulton, MO and his D.D.S. from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Harden returned to Houston after graduate school and opened practice at his current location. He is the father of 3 sons, his eldest Jeffrey joining him in Dental practice.
Dr. Harden has been a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Computerized Dentistry, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. He has completed mini-residencies in both orthodontics and periodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston - Dental Branch.
Dr. Harden was one of the first dentists in Houston to use the Sirona CEREC porcelain CAD/CAM system and continues to attend CE courses in this disclipline. He utilizes Cerinate Lumineers, ZOOM! whitening, and all-porcelain substrate crown techniques to achieve customized cosmetic smiles.
Dr. Jeffrey Harden
Dr. Jeffrey Harden was born and raised in Houston, TX. His education started with St. Michael School and Strake Jesuit College Preparatory. He received his B.S. in Biochemistry from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA and his D.D.S. from The University of Texas Dental Branch in the Houston Medical Center.
He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Texas Dental Association (TDA), and the Greater Houston Dental Society (GHDS). Also, he volunteers for community projects such as the Texas Mission of Mercy, an event sponsored by the TDA Smiles Foundation which provides free dental treatment to underserved Texans across the state. In his free time, 'Dr. Jeff' enjoys swimming, running, and fishing. He is proud of his All-American honors in swimming and water polo. He now participates annually in the Chevron Houston Marathon.
